Pixel Decay : Gauntlet Prototype is a Vertical Slice of the game to test the waters and see if this is something people would be interested in playing, before gameplay and story continue development. The demo includes a sandbox map to test the movement, as well as the gauntlet, which is a target practice time trial map in order to sample how combat against one of the games enemy types may feel like.
The next release of the game will be much more streamlined, with a Steam demo release and leaderboard support as well as a Discord group.

56.828 on the gauntlet!
I'd enjoy the game more if the hooks were more like raw pendelums. Roark physics feelin goood. At the moment it feels a tad to easy to hook, press nothing, and land exactly on the nape.
Hey! thanks for the feedback! been hard at work smoothing things in and improving the movement system. what would you recommend? maybe a delay from the hook hitting the target object perhaps? would love your thoughts
